Register, and use the Active Topics page when you log in. Then you only see new posts and can choose whether to read or not.

You don't need to give tons of personal info to register.

Sorry "Fred" - I totally disagree with you here.

This is the best Forum on the 'Net!

If you want to see naff then look at "fiatowners" on Yahoo Groups! [}:)]

I hope I'm not insulting anyone here who's on the other group but I've had a very unpleasant experience there ;)

Also very naff is posting messages all in capital letters ...

Yeah Fred.. for starters turn off your CAPS Lock key... do you even know where to find it?

I dont entirely agree with young Fred but I do find this site extremely slow to navigate and because of this it makes boxes and different areas a pain to get to. Becuase of this set up you have to actually go into the area to see if its worth going into the area to start with.

Its very difficult keeping everyone happy - I know I manage a number of websites - and at the end of the day its speed that kills!

I find this site a bit like reading a book and having to refer to the index to find the next bit - but hey thats me, other people will not be bothered by this.

Doing alright, Ben - keep it going.

thats what i do too :D

one thing that is ridiculous is the pages are around 80-100k each... in laymens terms on a 56k modem you're looking at about 20 seconds (Assuming a good rate of compression) just to load one...

bizare! i dunno much i can do there, but will look into it.

on the other hand, if you all had broadband.... :D

Hei.

I have an ultra slow modem connection. The pages load fast. It has a very simple but innovative design. The site is pure and user friendly without the touch of a web-designer trying to realize himself. Other sites may be state of the art design and look ultra fancy, but when people won't (or can't) use it...

I disagree to the fullest with "CAPS LOCK" FRED.

mate, where would you put it??? not even MY name is on the site!!!

wimmy should redesign the front logo too, and credit for wimmy and ben should be put in the middle of the grey bar at the bottom.
