Have you tried using other methods with the tablet - there is the PC mode [via browser], the mobile mode [via browser] or the dedicated Android app?
As stu says, you'd probably be better off using the app. Or invest in a magnifying glass

It make no difference in other modes or using the app l have no difficulties on other forums. It has to be some perculuaraty with this site, any further ideas
How can it make no difference in other modes? The mobile mode (m.fiatforum.com) is so stripped down that there is no title bar, and the app is built completely differently. I'm guessing what you mean to say is, you don't want to use the mobile versions? If that's the case, you're just going to have to dealing with the floating bar getting in the way if you decide to zoom in on something.
Which browser on the nexus? I'll need to see if I can replicate it.

On my Samsung tablet you get the floating bar on both chrome and firefox, and it is very annoying
Right, it seems to be a conflict with the mobile app banner.
If you close that (x in the top right) the floating problem stops.

Its the same on my Kindle Fire
It would always sit in middle of screen, you have to click its X and it'll be gone for good, but makes it alot easier overall

I'm not up to speed with the Nexus or the names your using. I concide in one mode the zoom does not operate so to me in my ignnorace the problem dose not arise. But as I say I do not have a problem viewing on other forms using zoom. I mainly use Opera with word wrap, this helps with the small screen, as you don't have scroll from side to side. Pretty sure you'll find its the same on Chrome and firefox
As I've been typing this the problem has resolved its self!!! The floating bar now disappears off the bottom of the screen as I zoom in,.........result? But word wrap is not working!!!! Ho...hmm

Further to my previous post as soon as I posted word wrap started again, as I'm typing this word wrap is not working. I can live with this, not sure why this is happening as I've not altered any settings. There was an x on the bar but this did not turn it off, but this may be a problem with my particular Nexus
