where it says download chat port 'here' click the here. make sure you put in the right port num - thats what i did wrong!

Benny, if no luck with IRCXPro, you also need to have java on to run it direct from the forum link. I know you got a Mac, so maybe this is an issue.

You need java to run the chat room in a browser java download

I use MIRC, its the only one i could get working
