Fuelly?

I like many others on here run fuelly to keep tabs on our MPG. On the forum for my old car there is an MPG thread where people, who are willing, have their fuelly displayed for others to see MPG's. I did a quick search and there are 304 threads that mention fuelly so it looks like there is a need. The first post could be all the models and engines (Only added when someone is willing to have their car added to save work for the mods) and anyone wishing to add their car can post underneath with the details moved to the first thread by a Mod. This would then be a one stop shop for anyone researching real world MPG's rather than those fanciful ones from the manufacturer. It would also be useful for members to see how their driving style/modifications (therefore fuel ecconomy) compares to others with the same model car.

Re: Fuelly?

I just thought it would be nice to have a 'one stop shop' for someone wanting to see if a type of vehicle has the MPG they can afford

That would be fuelly then

The garage section on here had some MPG feature iirc, was completely pointless IMO as no one kept it updated, people use fuelly and I know most will only even use fuelly for the sheer volume of information it contains.

Starting something on here would be pointless IMO, and would easily get messy with those that fiddle figures or don't keep them upto date.

If you wanna check the MPG for a specific car you could just go onto fuelly and browse for it

Re: Fuelly?

Just thought I'd ask . Worked well on the forum I was on but that was a single model forum so less versions to deal with I suppose (and less people trying to prove they had something they hadn't ).

If you don't try something new every now and then you end up stagnating and dying

Re: Fuelly?

I bought my little fiat only 3 days ago and whilst I love the car I am somewhat surprised that the fuel consumption is less than that of a 2006 micra that I traded in. Admittedly I have only just doen the short runs to work and maybe this will improve but I certainally thought it would be better than the 43mpg I am getting now. Its nice to see that others are getting about the same
