1/4 mile time list

1/4 mile time list

I can't beleive folks are against a 1/4 mile time list  It's a car forum, believe it or not, and this encompasses performance on the strip. There is nothing willy waving whatsoever in posting a 1/4 mile time, and is a measure of a cars performance. If I say "My car is currently 262BHP, with mods planned to increase this figure" is that willy waving?
Sorry if I am stoking up the fire here, I just couldn't beleive some folk can oppose a 1/4 mile time thread, on a car forum of all places !
If you don't like 1/4 mile times, don't look at the thread :p

I still think that a complete motorsport section would be better, one that encompasses rallying, circuit/track racing, rallyx, drag racing anything that's either Fiats or fiat engined. (y)

bennyboy, i like your idea.

im sorry if i caused a stir by starting this thread but i was thinking more of a 1/4 mile list, not a forum (sorry if i put forum). something that could be updated etc.

but, a motorsport section sounds good, but it would have to be moderated properly to make sure it didnt end up chavvey :)

Dunc

ok, the left column on the left slip is my old 1242 8v non-turbo cinq.

Right column on the right slip is my 1242 8v turbo cinq on 3.5 psi boost. (now running 5psi, will be interested to see the times at York this year).

Yes, there's much faster cars about, but these ain't bad times for centos.

Im the slower one on the first slip with my 1108 in cant wait to run in the 1242 this yr
