Fiat forum app

I use my phone more than my laptop and i'm sure other users would benefit from a fiat forum app as it would provide access to information on the go. I am aware that you could just use the internet and come to the website on your phone but an app would make things so much easier.

Is this viable?

we've been here before.

The best thing is TapaTalk as the Vbulletin software that FF is compatible with it.

However its the time and expense of sorting it out. ben is obviously busy, and it would need someone with experience

I belive an app for ff will be fantastic however i wouldnt no were to start either but the notifications when a post replying to your query and possibly a section for image feed to show of there fiats or to give wiring diagrams etc i belive this would greatly improve the site !!!

I don't like Tapatalk and Forum Runner has limitations.

The official VB app is coming along, but until it supports push notifications, we're not going to adopt it...

Tapatalk is great. It's free to activate too but the app costs end users 69p.

No brainer IMHO & for me without PC access, pretty essential for idevice users

We don't charge people for access to the site. Making people have to pay for an app would be wrong.
That's why there is the mobile skin, I never have any issue with the site on my mobile.

You wouldn't be charging them though as it would be an option, down to personal choice. If its free to the forum, I don't see the issue?

my idea of seperate app with just the guides and faq's ( remember i have no idea how an app works really never even seen one in real life) target market would be people who dont really use forums or just come take what they can and give nothing back, like independent garages.
