OP colour is yellow - any others are blue!
They are quite a light colour though - but this is so it fits in better with the design. When it stood out a lot, people complained!
Change the saturation and contrast...
I can tell the difference perfectly on my screen
Its not like its needed either, I can point out hundreds (ok several) of forums that dont indicate who the first posted or author is..
If its that essential look who posted the thread on the sub forum, or go to page one.
i'll agree its subtle, but i can see a difference between them. not sure if thats just me.
but IMO if i want to know the OP i'll read the first post, as this is where the topic issues generally start
When I'm on another page I cba to go to page 1 and back again.

Then it is an issue you bring upon yourself.
Then how do you know what a thread is relating to and be able to post accordingly?
your argument is invalid
Nah different monitors seem to display really differently.
Not sure which is really the true colour tbh - the site looks totally different on my phone, my TV and my laptop!
Colours are so difficult to get right on a website it's horrible lol!
Dom
From where I'm sitting right now they both look white, if I lower my chair the colours are waaay more obvious. Time to sit on the floor Dom
If you know this when why ask for it to be changed?
you understand that different monitors will display the coded color differently
All i can suggest is buy a new monitor (or sit on the floor )
its ok on my desktop, cant see it on laptop though
Because I can't be the only one that can't see it clear enough.
because you wont be the only one with a different monitor.
EVERY monitor reacts differently, actually its down to the GPU and how it reacts to it as well.
Odds are there will be just as many people who cant see it to those who can.
you cant change it just because a few cant.
As @Eklipze3k has pointed out, its also down to the viewing angle, if you dont want to sit on the floor can i suggest something else..
...tilt your monitor backwards..
Or maybe when you click on the thread, take a note of the few characters under the thread title
