As above from my other thread just without the other stuff that thread has.:)

Basically I put a link to my website once, then a mod deleted/edited it, then I made the same mistake again and got told off for it.

I think a system whereby when a post is deleted/edited the user is PM'd to be told why etc.

I edit a lot of threads daily - prefixes, small edits, etc - any edit made generally has a reason at the bottom of the post.

Wouldn't this put extra strain on the FF resources?

Personally, I check a lot of the threads and posts I, er, post on...

PS or you could have read the forum rules first

But do you really re-read your previous posts..?

If the user knew that you'd changed their prefix or moved their thread to another section they might learn from it and not do it again?

The post that was edited didn't say.. And neither does yours ^^.;)

Should I read the rules before I do each post?

So when my post was editing I didn't need to know why.
Personally, I thought it would have been obvious. You have been around this site for long enough, ignorance of the rules isn't really a good excuse imho.

I also see one of your posts being edited, with 'ad' as the reason...

Didn't you also get a PM from a moderator explaining? Oh yes, that's right - a PM that you then decided to post on the forum  what part of Private was lost there?

However, it seems you have a comeback for everything - as they say, I am out of here! Got better things to be doing than going round in circles ;)

Maybe if I'd read it...

Can you link to the post please? The only one I can find doesn't have a reason..

After the second edit/delete yes but with some added attitude that I didn't think was suitable seing as I hadn't been told of the first one.

What a wonderful attitude to members.

well Im seeing you whining over the same stuff
again and for a final time
you got a PM,no warnings,no points

you then decided to follow this PM with a thread posting up details of the PM,discussing moderation
all in disregard of the rules and common sense
now again you are going over the same ground
now you are whining you want an auto PM
to what end? so you can post that up in a thread?
you have been advised on the rules regarding discussing moderation
you have decided to ignore that one again
I can see you want to step beyond PMs and I have no problem with that
learn or be taught
choice is yours
