Just think it would be a good idea to maybe add a 'Times thanked' or equivalent to show how many 'thanks' you have to others.

You used to be able to see that in your Profile > Statistics but it seems to be gone now.
Could put it in ( ) after the Thanks count on postbits now, but it might confuse people if it doesn't have some sort of explanation...?

Basically, my basis for this idea is that I think (in life aswell as in forums etc) that an official 'thankyou' is extremely underused.
E.g. at work, for 5 e thankyou's, we recieve a money reward. Problem is, people only say thank you in email because they are too lazy to do it officially.
I just think being able to see how many times someone has thanked could encourage the use of 'thanks' on posts.

We already have the number of times you've been thanked under the username. I can't see any point in showing how many times you've thanked others.

okay no probs, although is there any reason not to have it there?
