given the type of thing some folks try to post in the sections I can tell you its not gonna happen
Spamalot was created to allow a little more leeway but there are and will always be limits
That's kinda what Spamalot is for - hidden from the general public so more can go there.
Unless you mean like a "Fight fight fight!" forum - although how would you get access to it?

if moderators don't like what people are posting they just don't reply and only step in behind the scenes by removing any thing that is plainly against the rules

TBH - if a thread isn't going to break any rules, then it can go in Spamalot - it serves the same purpose?
If you've got a problem with a specific member, take it up with them or report them/their posts if they're being unreasonable, if you just generally need to rant about something non-personal I can't see why spamalot or even the grumpy thread wouldn't suffice for this.

its a shame that rule only ever applied to 1 mod
people would easily forget mods posting just to dig and argue if they was seen to do it less than actually posting useful stuff, but when its all they do it stands out and sticks in peoples minds. then they would be like the rest of the mods who people remember as helping people every day

And it's also unfair to expect mods to be have to accept digs - but for users to throw a hissy fit when they get them back.....
Back in the day, we used to delete and remove a lot of threads - now we are a lot more transparent and a lot more tolerant.
