having an FF banner for events so peeps from FF who arent members of a club can go to an event under one banner?

I have expressed my own personal views, nobody has told anyone what they can or cannot do - I have asked for my opinion to be considered as have others, but you aren't legally bound to go with what I say, hell you don't even have to read what I put. It's quite plain that some people haven't.
At the end of the day, you're all individuals with your own minds. If you wish to go ahead with the idea then do so, but there is absolutely no need for people to become offensive as has been seen here. Just because someone disagrees with you, doesn't mean you have to punch them in the face.

which means that Clubcento have no problem with the Fiat Forum, but if it proves to be true that the two are in conflict at some time in the future, then we may discuss the situation. No decisions have been made, some seem to be under the impression that Clubcento HQ has issued a directive to kill the Fiat Forum, this is not the case.
My PERSONAL view, not Clubcentos, is that attending events under the Fiat Forum name will effectively be the point at which the forum becomes an owner's club. I PERSONALLY don't wish to see this happen as I believe it will cause divided loyalties and such.
Please remember in your replies to be balanced and inoffensive, this is only an opinion and you don't have to abide by it.

If you want regular meetings, events, discounts (I would have thought this was a big reason), newsletters, a badge

I suspect a lot of people do both. As for discounts, well, some are possible, but most manufacturers who come here, tell us they need to be for paying members only.
Well, the FF is free, and always will be, so we have to turn down a lot of them.
Let's look at the other view though, if the owners clubs are worried we can damage them, (and we dont want that, hell no) - what do THEY suggest we do so we can find an amicable solution. Its all well and good saying, "as long as we don't conflict", but what do they mean by this?
Maybe us FF'ers are not seeing the bigger picture, or maybe it is the other way around....

ok i read this thread, well actually i read to page 6 then skipped because this argument is so mind numbingly boring and annoying!!!! the main issue that seems to keep coming up from both sides of the argument is that FF is some kind of competition? how? we are not a club nor does it intend on becoming one. how can we be competition when FF has helped CC with the flow of members that go there because if someone asks about a club FF will always point them in the right direction, FF doesnt pretend to be anything other that a forum for discussion.
I think that people are missing the point that although FF is doing well we cant rely on word of mouth for publicising forever, there has to be some form of advertising, in the shape of the stickers for your cars and maybe the banner.
i also understnad that it is hard for some CC members as Pete mentioned (on like page 3 - god dont that seem ages ago!) that he wouldnt know where to stand if FF and CC were there. well you stand with whoever probably your club and you can come and say hi to the people that you know at FF.
we are all friends on here (well mainly)so i would have thought that everyone would have been happy for FF to do some innocent advertising just as FF would be supportive of CC if they wanted to do something. CC sounds like a great place to be part of just as FF is so we would reccomend it to people.
