In the scenario Dave was talking about, a container (perhaps an old washer bottle) could be secured in the engine compartment & electricity would need to come from a circuit made live by the ignition being on/engine running - you could even jury-rig a cycle dynamo to run off the alternator belt (? perhaps? maybe?). As well as adding this cell though, you would also need a remap else the lambda sensor is not going to know what hit it - instead of pulling in normal air, the engine will be pulling in mainly oxygen and hydrogen - in far higher quantities than ever before.

There are even companies out there who will add a tank of calor / butane / propane so the gas trickles into the engine. Same principle but a dearer concept.
he did have a box attached to it with a lead that looked like it could hook upto a laptop, maybe. the water was in a little header tank, there was a box with 6 led lights on that goes in the cab, i'll have to go when there is more time to chat to him

I have never seen brown gas so I guess you are correct - only idiots belive in it, but I have collected and tested 'Brown's gas' which is real.

Air is 70% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and small amounts of other gases so what, exactly is wrong with introducing additional hydrogen and oxygen into the air intake as long as you get a remap to account for the extra oxygen and hydrogen?
