Whenever i go into a thread in that section, the page is refreshing itself every 3 or 4 seconds and its really annoying, is it happening to anyone else?

All you need to do for the moment is click the stop button on your browser, when the page has loaded, and before it refreshes. (It's where your refresh button would be if the pages has fully loaded).... at least this way you can read the threads
Delete the bit at the end of the url which is like "#XXXXXXXXXXXXX" (including the hash)
