I was looking to see if its worth a seperate Punto Evo Folder from the Grande Punto as the dealer seems to be treating these as new beasts,,
Or do we just see this as a face lift?

In your opinion the EVO isn't worth 15k, but you said you weren't giving your opinion.

Were were happily talking about the EVO being a well equipped nice looking (in our opinion), we weren't even interested in the sub 5 seconds a car could do. You bought that up, I was simply saying if I wanted a sub 5 car I wouldn't be looking at a supermini.

The Polo isn't going to corner like an RX-7 is it or even an original MR-2 worth £500.

If you dont like the EVO or what were discussing then why get involved.

Again, read your own posts. I never mentioned a sub 5 second car. You brought it up to start with not me. You said for 20k you get a polo. I pointed out that that polo was a top spec one nothing more nothing less.

Why are you now bringing RX7s and MR-2s into it?

It appears that EVO owners are the new 500 owner. Everyone is jealous of my EVO. I can assure you im not. If i wanted one i could go and buy one tomorrow. But i dont.

Can I ask why you own a Punto, from what I can guage it surely doesn't live upto your standards

How on earth have you come to that conclusion? You dont even know what my "standards" are as not once have i mentioned them.

I wouldn't say the EVO has a high price tag, in comparison to other supermini's.

You could go and get a Polo which will be close to the 20k mark ... FOR A POLO!!!! NO WAY

Or a Fiesta for that matter.

We bought our Fiats because they are very stylish, you get more exclusivity than any other supermini aswell.

If you want an EVO on the cheap, just use Fiat Super Saver.

You can have an Eleganza for £500 more than an Active, you get LOADS of kit, the new multiair engine nicer interior.

Maybe the EVO for some will be a grower like Lady Gaga's songs.

Depending on which model and colour you buy you get different bumper inserts, on a black Eleganza EVO you get black inserts (which suite it alot!) but on a white one you get silver like in the picture below, and I think it looks better in silver on some colours than black ones.

For 20k you could get a new Polo GTI with the 7 speed DSG Box in and a few other extras. That is a sub 7 second car to 60, will drive a lot better and be built to a much higher standard.

You mentioned the sub 7 to 60 about the Polo. Not me

I couldn't care less about the speed of a car which is why I'm NOT buying a sports car, I replied about a sub 5 car for even less than 20k making the point if I wanted a FAST car I wouldn't spend 20k on a Polo which was what I said all along.

I care what you think which is why were discussing this, but your too narrow minded to think about anything else but you. So thanks for being honest by saying you dont care what I think, means I can be happy with my EVO and not have to worry that you think it's FUGLY.

One thing that puzzles me about Punto_Matt's signature, it doesnt look like a summers day so how the hell have you drove & parked it like that and still have it shining...

the past 4 days with mine, 3 cleans, and it still looks like its been on a rally course!

You must of had it taken there covered on a carrier, and probably polished when it arrived :yum:

i have always wondered how people get there car looking so clean when they do all the fancy shoots in places like that mine stays that clean and shiny for about one journey then it starts to show

Stays clean because i spend too much on expensive car cleaning stuff. The photo was taken this time last year.
