Done - but not quite as you wanted. The notification is now if there are any groups you are a member of with updated posts.

Best that could be done without some serious DB querying.

Thats been there from the start, it popped up for various different things. Just now the socials have been added to the list.

Not really - it's in the latest forum version anyway, so we're just keeping it uniform until the upgrade.

There's nothing to "play up" though, if a group is bold, just read all the threads in it - or click the "mark group read" and it will disappear.

If you are the gallery then the notification link doesn't work - 404 page not found.
