Problem with a thread - one for the mods

I tried to report the thread in question but came back with a "The webpage cannot be found error"

When I click the 'last page' (like the one shown here)

I get a "The webpage cannot be found error", it tends to do it from within the thread too. I got the same thing when I tried to report the thread.

I've noticed this a couple of times on bigger threads, a minor glitch so wasn't sure if the mods were aware of it, so thought I would do my bit and report it. I'm running IE8

Admin is having trouble trying to find the exact cause of it; it also seems to affect post counts as well, all to do with a rogue .

Nitro, I get this aswell with this thread ocasisonally and others. Its because the page dosen't end properly.

It should end something like recently-18.html

But sometimes when it dosen't work it's like
recently-18.:.html. It needs .: removing recently-18.:.html and the page number moving up one, so should be recently-19.html.

If the 'go to last page' link gets it's data from there, then that's going to cause issue. what if the thread page count was cast to an int? Ok it's not fixing the problem because it shows up elsewhere as well, but it'd mask it for threads.

Weird how the problem goes away after threads reach a certain size.

not really a bug, just saving hits on the database i'd say.

Yeah - I saw this thread, and the example error was still there, so I thought "finally a chance to catch it!"

But alas no ... actually I have one more idea, but I'll leave that for now and won't disturb your browsing again

Lol. Yea, my laptop battery has normally died by that time so I'm normally offline and asleep
