I think we should have a maximum sig size, say a maximum height and width, like they do on some forums.

I dont mean to be a kill joy or anything, but peoples sigs are getting sooooo massive that its getting hard to read some threads and soon we are going to be getting one reply per page!

What do you reckon Ben?

lora you can get your sig down to 18.6KB if you convert it to jpeg , the quality aint altered much either :)

im sure they will allow you more quotes if the sig pic is quicker to load up :D

I like signatures, they can make an otherwise boring day at work interesting.
I'm on broadband though, so it doesn't boher me, if mine is too big please tell me, I'm used to hearing that anyway :D :p

I'm ready for abuse over the fact that its a VW in the signature, when I get the Marea out on track i'll use that instead :D
 
what if some dont want to turn them off, do they have to suffer slow page load ups :(

helz some sigs are still big in file size, if you running 56k then god speed :p
 
well some people did remove them for a short while and then sneaked them back on thinking we hadnt noticed :rolleyes:

I know ben has talked about removing sigs all together because of the silly file sizes, so its up to you, i know if it carrys on this way thats what he'll do.

i personally like sigs but not the massive ones and also the gif ones are really annoying
