Ironically as an old git & realy quite new to the on line stuff like forums, I find it a bit funny that some of the young team dont know much about forums per say:D

Im certainly no expert & can remember a time when we had to actually speak to each other face to face, but that's a different story, & a comment I made in another thread that was deleted;)

To be very honest, at times I realy cant believe how serious some take the ramblings of people they have never met, & dont agree with what they have said:D

I still however comfort myself with the knowledge that almost all on here have a love of Fiat motor vehicles......:D

But to the point by watford jim, the only way to prevent a member from posting in a thread, whether you choose to view his post or not, is to have that member placed in a group that has no posting rights - or be yourself able to start a thread in a section that restricts followup postings by sub-human members - such as news.

The only way to stop someone posting on your thread is to break into their house in the middle of the night and..... no wait...can't do that anymore.

The forum is as open as we can make it, while keeping in the spirit of the forum. The only place you have some control on who can post is in the social groups.

Quick Links > Social Groups.
