Guides and how-tos, etc. are different, as long as the user writing the guide (for example) and uploading it is aware of and agrees that their pic files cannot be deleted without good cause, e.g. to replace it with an updated pic, as it would be when using attachments. Classifieds. IMO, I think it would be better to perhaps streamline the forum a bit more (and possibly reduce bandwidth/costs, I dunno, you tell me if it would) and have the Classifieds in the same format as the normal forum. Yes, it would need catergorising and it would need looking at and thinking about but some stuff doesn't need catergorising, e.g. there are only 30 odd current ads for cars for sale. Model specific parts are a different story, but 'generic' parts, e.g. the 'styling' and 'tuning' sections etc. could be lumped into one subforum IMO. Talking about streamlining, do we really need the Blog section? There seems to be an average of roughly an update a month. Is it worth keeping? Just a couple of thoughts ![]() Last edited by chaos; 29-08-2008 at 23:17. |
