Hi guy's,

Great site with great usability. I have a quick question for you regarding the text boxes you use for the posting of messages.

Can you tell me where you sourced it from? I own an internet jobsite for the counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire & Gloucestershire (www.jobpatch.com) and the text box sourced by our web developers (used by employers when adding text for the job advert) is quite frankly useless. Well, its not that bad, but your one is much better.

Any tips or pointers on where you found yours would be really appreciated.

Many thanks

Phil:)

I mean the editing box that produces the message scripts. More so the editing box used when compiling a new thread rather than the quick reply.

yeah, its all part of the forum software.

you might have more joy looking up news posting scripts than with forums - news scripts tend to be easier to disassemble and modify.

What's used is called a WYSIWYG editor (stands for What You See is What you Get!), runs off Javascript and other technical witchcraft. Closest thing I can think off is the TinyMCE editor which is a more feature filled editor but uses more resources - the vBulletin one is the slimfast version :yum:
