we've got a section for everything except dog juggling and paper eating so why isnt there an alfa romeo section? unlike many recently added sections, alfas are actually cars and they're designed and made by fiat, so its perfectly relevant to this forum. an alfa section is just an extension to the fiat range we currently cover. i'm not suggesting a different section for each model, just a single alfa section to gauge interest and see how many people we get.

alfas share a lot of the same parts and problems with their fiat cousins so the knowledge on the forum will be useful. also there's no alfa forum that is as good as fiatforum (imo). i'm sure many FF members move on to an alfa after thier fiat, and then they've got nowhere to go. an alfa section will let these people stay on FF without feeling like 'cling ons'.

what's everyone else's opinion on an alfa section?

I wouldn't be surprised if Alfa withdraw from UK in 5 years or so,they are alienating themselves from garages by demanding too much (like 4 new courtesy cars of which one must not be a 147) warranty work has to be authorised beforehand.......I understand that alfa are trying to 'raise their image' but why does a customer pay £13-15 per hour more than a fiat owner when the same tech is working on both fiat & alfa cars at multi franchise garages:confused:

Its a tough one as Alfa are part of Fiat it would be an idea to create an Alfa section, however if someone wants questions answered on an Alfa where better than an Alfa specific forum? I would have thought you would get your answers much quicker there?

why not just start a new alfaforum.com/co.uk then if you want to discuss alfa's you can go there?

could always then put a link on the fiatforum splash page.

and if it was ben that did it im sure he could enable existing log in details for fiatforum to also work on alfaforum.com/co.uk
