Hi,

This is probably an old query, but I couldn't find any relevent threads. When I click on `Chat', the following appears.

WARNING SECURITY.

Do you want to trust the signed applet distributed by "Philippe Detournay"?

Publisher authenticity verified by "GlobalSign nv-sa"

! The security certificate was issued by a company that is not trusted.

! The security certificate has expired or is not yet valid.

Caution: "Philippe Detournay asserts that this content is safe. You should only accept this content if you trust "Philippe Detourney" to make this assertion.

If you click the box marked [MORE DETAILS] you get a page of code numbers. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the above means? I've bravely tiptoed into the chatroom a couple of times and found it empty. Are all doomed who enter therein?

its a Java security warning, upto yourself if you wish to accept it.

What have I got to lose? No seriously; that's not a metaphorical question. If I chose to ignore the warning, what could happen? Shedloads of spam? Offerers to credit my bank account with zillions of $$$ if only I give my account details to some prat in Nigeria?

Maybe these are obvious questions, but it's better to ask and get laughed at, than not ask and get shat upon:yuck:
