Other coil TOK (swapped) . ECU voltages 11-14v at 10 and 38
any ideas please.

Jobow I assume your meaning one of the negative pulsed supplies from the ECU is missing? Check this carefully (I use power probe & watch the LED flash green) & visually check wiring between coil & ECU as have seen them rub off the throttle body....looks like your needing a ECU though if this neg trigger is missing!
For your information one of the neg triggers comes from pin 10 of the ECU,the other is pin 38,both connector A.

The missing pulse on lead to pin 10--- Have ordered new ECU. guy on phone says this very common ECU fault. -cost £175 +vat-----how this price compare?

£175 is cheap,must be reconditioned unit.Dave (the other Dave) might be able to get one cheaper.

ecu ordered today--comes tomorrow + new coils -playing safe! -though

£215+ vat now. Hope this does the job.!

Not sure which Dave I have replied to -surely both helpful guys.

ECU changed --- now OK.
