I have a fiat punto 60 SX S reg

I have searched for similar threads on how to replace the blue key. I rang my local dealer today as unfortunately I have lost both blue keys and only have the RED key. The dealer informed me that I need both a blue and red key to get a replacement blue key about £35.

He suggested buying a new car instead!!!!

Where do I go from here as I have also been told not to use the RED key but it is all I have

some key cutters can make blues from a red, where you live i know a shop in colchester

You have a red key so all is ok. You need to get 2x blue keys ordered up and get them cut using the red key. Then with all keys present....


Put RED key in turn ignition on untill key code light goes out.

within 10 secs put 1x BLUE key in turn on untill key code goes out...

put other BLUE key in and turn untill light goes out...

Then put RED key in turn on untill light goes out and turn off and remove key.

Wait a minute and car should start with BLUE keys.

Thanks for that it should save me some cash as I have foud a locksmiths that can do the keys

you obviously now more than the 2 fiat dealers I spoke to but I think they prob knew

but just gave me horror stories of the cost of replacement if I lost the RED key a then

tried to interest me in a new car instead!

i went to a dealers for some ctr caps and ended up test driving the new panda
