my punto evo does this as does my girlfriends 500 and her brothers Doblo

then when you set off it auto locks again.

my Girlfriend was at the trafford centre and had been followed by a man for 20 minutes so she rushed back to her car got in and hit the lock button on her key and then started the car...

the 500 then unlocked itself and then relocked when she set off....

i tried this on my Punto Evo as i thought it was a fault and it did it so i tried it on her brothers Doblo and it also did it....

:idea: try SEARCH in the Grande Punto section, as that will be the closest relative of your car

do you mean as you start driving.. this is normally selected in the options on the end of the wiper stalk,

My sedici doesn't do this, if I want to lock doors when I'm inside I use the button next to electronic window button, why would it lock itself and have a Manuel button sounds like a dodgy button or something

Its got a manual button so you can unlock the car to let addition passengers in etc
