Hi,

First time poster so be gentle with me...

I've had the 1.6 since new (56 model) and am very happy with it. Unfortunately my driver's side window motor is on the way out. The agents will only sell the motor as a kit with all the other windy bits (125 GBP) which seems a bit dear when you want only the window motor. I've sourced a new motor at 87 GBP excl VAT and delivery charges which would put it in the region of 100 GBP or so. Again a bit pricey for what you get, but if that is the best price I shall have to take it and like it.

It seems worth doing a bit of research as I cannot believe this motor is that unique that it only fits a Sedici. If anyone has experience or can point me in the direction of which window motor (part number if possible) to look for in a breaker's yard I would be eternally grateful

BTW Thanks TinyTim! I had to download the e-manual. Been looking for a long time.

Hi hobgblin,
Glad the emanual downloaded ok.
Never had to replace a window motor but it might be worth just cleaning all the electrical connections first, If no luck remove motor and take to scrappies; part no should be on it.
Have you checked price in the suzuki dealers?

Thanks for the helpful responses guys. I almost jumped through the roof when I saw the £45 then I saw it was the other side. Maybe I should get that one and keep as a spare...Murphy's Law will see the NSF motor fail just after this one has been sold and I'll have to go through the same thing again. I would have tried the rear however my Sedici is not the Eleganza and has only the front windows electrified. Cleaning the contacts...I'll give it a try however in all honesty I think the motor is finished. I've tried sourcing a Suzuki part - same story. Really hard to get hold of. I'll keep trying another week or so and then cave in and buy the new motor.

Sorry to get your hopes up with that ebay NSF one! I'd hang on if you can bear it though - they do pop up on ebay. Contact the seller to see if he has the drivers one?
