Hi everybody,

Can anyone tell me where my cabin filter is located please? Seems like the filter is totally blocked and not getting much air through to de-mist the windscreen. Can you also tell me if this is an easy job to do as well?

Many thanks :)

Thanks for that information :) I took the filter out this morning, and as you said it was so easy to remove. I just cleaned it out and washed it in warm water with washing liquid then used the girlfriends hairdryer to dry it off :D Put it back in and its as good as new (y)

Many thanks!

Just to revive and add to this - I changed mine last week....soooo easy.
A few leaves and twigs had dropped into the Heater fan - x3 nuts and the whole fan assembly drops into the passenger footwell! Possibly the easiest access to a Heater fan ever!

Hello,
Forgive my ignorance, but I cannot see where the Pollen Filter is...
I see talk of the glovebox, but any clues as to exactly where would be much appreciated.
Regards.

The pollen filter is situated just behind the glovebox. You need to remove the glovebox by opening it and squeezing the sides at he top to unhook the stops (It'll come off in your hand after you've freed these). Then there is a black piece of plastic housing that needs to be unclipped and you should see the filter behind it. Toughest part is getting this out! Make a note of the airflow direction (arrow) on the filter before you extract it. Refitting should be a doddle. Hope this helps. Happy pollen free motoring

Thank you!
That worked.
The filter was BLACK.
Was I REALLY breathing all that?!
i doubt it has been changed in years!

Just changed the cabin/pollen filter on mine today and was shocked at how black
and full of dead insects it was.

Took a picture comparing old with new but can't post it yet as don't have enough posts.

As has been said its an easy job to do and would recommend everyone gives
it some attention!
