I own a Fiat Sedici 1.9 diesel(120bhp) 4x4 Eleganza. Recently I have come across a couple of tuning solutions for our diesel engines. The 2 best tuning boxes that I have found(considering price,performance,warranty,technology) appear to be the following:
A)chipexpress.com
B)dieseltuning.co.uk(Spider Tuning)
The differences are:40,000,000 instructions per minute for A(versus 20,000 for B), 3 year warranty for chip + 14 day moneyback guarantee for A/vs 5 year warranty for the chip+ 1 year warranty against damage for B and also TUV certification for A.
Both companies claim at least 30 bhp increase in performance and up to 20% decrease in consumption+ no harm to the car.
Spider tuning appears to be more reputable/tested(although there have been complaints).They both claim to offer the best diesel tuning solution in the world. Apart from that they both have identical technology,adjustable by small increments.
There is also DieselPowerTuning.co.uk which, although non-adjustable and seemingly inferior,has been officially reviewed on TV by Quentin Wilson.
Which one would you suggest?Do you have any experience on tuning for diesel engines?I would appreciate any input on the matter.
