I have just been sent the red key and a further blue key which has the remote central locking button with LED on it from the previous owner of my newly bought '98 punto sporting (without alarm) as i got it from a scrapyard;- it came with the basic blue key and so i didnt realise it had remtoe central locking. Iv'e just been to try it and it doesnt seem to work. the key itself opens all the doors and starts the engine so it must be the right key but has anyone had this problem before or no how to fix it?

Any help would be fantastic!

obvious question i know, but have you checked the keys battery?

Check the fuses under stearing collum. I managed to blow a fuse, and the remote central locking didn't work. Works fine now! cause I jsut blown a fuse.
