Hi, i have a mk2 elx and have central locking already but was looking at fitting a meta remote central locking kit and wondered what was involved to do it, do i have to remove the door cards and is it a big job? and also will the indicators flash when i lock the car

regarding the indicators it depends on what alarm/cl kit your fitting, although id advise you to avoid connecting it to the indicators if the alarm/cl kit doesnt have FUSED indicator outputs as a thief can simply pop out your indicator and cross the wires or earth them off the chassis and when they break into your car the alarm will trigger causing a short circuit which will burn out the alarm instantly.,.

about fitting it, you shouldnt have to remove the door cards but youll have to remove some of the dash trim near the fuse box etc, to fit the control module and then you'll have to lead the siren(if its an alarm) wires through the bulk head to the engine bay.
the central locking can be connected through the wire comming back into the car from the drivers door through the grommet(behind the plastic kick panel i think), i dont have one of these cars so im not sure which colour wire to use but its not hard to figure out.,.,
