Hi everyone. I was hoping someone could advise me about converting the key operated central locking on my 2001 multipla to remote central locking. I bought it recently at a knock down price because it had been stood for 12 months and needed repairs to put it back on the road. One of the reasons I got it cheap was because someone had chiselled off the drivers door lock barrel and damaged the door in the process. After pricing up a new lock barrel at the local fiat dealer I thought it would be cheaper and easier to convert it to remote locking. I have seen a kit on ebay - item number 4648360401 which is a meta kit. Does anyone know if I will be able to just plug this in somewhere on the wiring loom and automatically convert the car to remote central locking?
