is this a good'un? and is it Thatcham 1 or somthing to drop my insurance?

A Cat 1 alarm will only give you an insurance drop if fitted by a credited installer as they give you a certificate to show that it was fitted to a certain standard. No alarm is technically Cat 1 unless fitted correctly.

Therefore is it a good price, only if you can get it fitted less than a fully supplied and fitted price.

btw,that company[toad] started in my home town of salford in a very small unit.how they have grown.very good alarms.still think a disklok is better.

do you have a sticker in your window advertising your ice? it should read,come and steal me.alarms are no damn good.nobody takes any notice.the alarm can easily be disabled.so ice is always vulnerable.thats why my cars have cheap ice.i like listening to the engine anyway.

nah, i fitted mine as my first alarm. didnt seem to complex, and adding a total closure module was easy too
