Hi,

My key for Mario has never worked remotely ever since I've had him. No biggie but I'd like to get it sorted.

I've recently put my gf onto my insurance after she passed her test, which has promoted me to re-read my insurance documents.

Now, I've stumbled upon a section called Key Assist:

Up to £1,500 annual cover
• No impact on your No Claims Discount
• Replacement locks, keys and locksmiths
charges covered
• No excess to pay
• Up to 3 days car hire when stranded due to
loss or theft of keys

Limitations:

Any amount exceeding the cover limit in the same
period of insurance (p24) ST • An insured event not reported to 1
CENTRAL within
30 days (p24)
• Vehicle hire charges where the hired vehicle has an
engine size over 1600cc engine size and charges over
a maximum of £40 per day] (p24)
• Any claim made within first 14 days of inception of the
Policy. (p24)

Would I be able to get this issue solved via my insurance for nothing?
