Hi All;

I know there are many similar threads however none actually cover this.

My car has remote central locking factory fitted (Punto MK2b HGT Multijet 54 Plate)

But the previous owner lost the fob.

I have bought a second hand remote fob from the same car and upon trying to program the fob to the car, i get the error "Remote already stored"

Does anyone know how to get around this?

This same error is received from MultiECUscan, AlfaOBD, and a professional Bosch KTS diagnostic tool.

The body computer in my vehicle is a Marelli MY03 and is accesed through the CAN network by ELM327 interface.
