i am from India and own a Fait punto diesel car. I had recently lost my Fiat puntocar key (remote lock) in a parking lot due to parking attendant negligence. After2 days, I went to fait service center and got my main key disabled to protect againstmisuse of lost key.

I started using my spare key andfortunately a Good Samaritan found the key and returned it back to me. I hadbeen to service center and they informed key pairing can’t be done and I needto get the entire key replaced. As entire key replacement will be expensive forme. I wanted to request if there is any alternative to get my remote keyfunctional again. I appreciate a positive response from fiat family.

They should be able to recode it immobilizer with the key present. Not sure why they're saying they can't, might be worth trying another dealer?
