Please, please, please, please, please, please! PLEASE!!!
Please help!!
Purchased remote CDL kit from Fleabay, to replace RCDL as finally packed up.
Box arrived yesterday, so spent the evening searching for wiring diagram.
Found the wiring guide listed elsewhere so thought "I'll bang that out soon enough!!"
How one man can be SO wrong, I'll never know!!!!!:bang::bang::bang:
Spent rest of morning searching for elusive 9 pin connector, stripping wiring looms and dash out looking for orange wires (6291 & 628), Green wires (233+234) and I can't locate them anywhere!
HONEST!!!
On a plus note, I have located a positive & earth!!!

Does any one know if there is a loom change??

OR EVEN BETTER:
Does anyone have a wiring diagram or a link to one???
Really don't want to be defeated by a poxy door locking kit!!!

Thank you in advance for all your help!!!!
Please don't laugh too loud. You'll take all my confidence away!!
Ta!

CDL Type Multipoint Negative Lock ORANGE WIRE No 6291 PIN 21 IN 23 WAY BLACK M/PLUG UNDER O/S DASH Unlock ORANGE WIRE No 6290 PIN 20 IN 23 WAY BLACK M/PLUG UNDER O/S DASH

Or from door loom

Thanks very much! Will sort that out when it stops f*&%$#g raining!
Any ideas what colour/no indicator wires are? Sorry to be cheeky!
Thanks again!

Thanks for that Mr Toad.
I have located black 23 pin m/plug on o/s. There are
2 orange wires in pin 20 (6290 & one not marked) and one orange wire in pin 21 not marked either!
There are 3 other orange wires also unmarked.
There is also an alarm unit under the dash beside hazard relay which has 2 Multiplugs in it, one of which has 5 unmarked orange wires.
I have checked loom into os door and the wires there are not marked either.
So could u pls advise what voltage, f any I should be getting when c/d/l is operated?
At mo, I'm getting 1.65v on pins 20&21, which .goes up to 6.5v when switching.
Is there a different set up for alarm unit, or, more likely, am I doing something wrong?
Many thanks, in advance!

Indicators i havent info on at mo

test wires with a test light ie clip to ground and other probing
http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?num=...&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0,i:71&tx=114&ty=40

when you probe the wire it will lock or unlock as it will feed an earth to the wire
you then will be able to determine lock and unlock wire

Indicators is you probe the alarm box with hazards on it will flash in time with them job done

On a positive note, my once seized tailgate lock barrel now works like a dream!!!

Osf door lock/motor cycling when locking from NSF door. Stripped and lubricated refit lock: now locks/unlocks from both front doors, inside and out!
Stripped Osf panel & located 23 pin Myltiplug.
Give earth to pin20 locks car!
Now cant find unlock pin!!!!!!!!
Earth pin 21 & nothing!
Any ideas????????
Soooooo close!!!!!!!!

Hi Ian.
Just cut wire from pin 20 and nothing happens!
Cdl still works fine!
I'm really stumped now!
Think I'll be living with manual cdl.........

Ian,thanks for all your help and patience! FINALLY figured it out!
On the 23 pin plug, there are 2 orange wires in pin 20 for lock and 2 grey wires in pin 19 for unlock!
2 soldered joints later and everything is working fine!
Spliced into output from hazards relay for indicators!
Hope this helps someone!
Thanks again!
