Hi guys :)

I have a problem with my 1995 Punto TD central locking. A long time ago, it started unlocking the doors automatically, when I closed the doors with the key, using either the driver's or passenger's door. At first, the problem was intermitent, but now it always happens and I can't lock the car. The fuse is ok, but I want to check the central locking relay and the door lock switches. For that I needed some help, if possible! :)

So, my questions are:

1) is the c/l relay a yellow one, located in the glove box (sketch attached)?

2) if yes, does it control only the central locking or other systems?

3) how can I test such a 6 pin relay?

4) what exactly are the door lock switches? And where are the located? (I wanted to clean and check for continuity)

5) if I can't manage to fix it, I want to disable the central locking, so I can manually close the car. Is it safe to remove the central locking fuse?

Thanks in advance!! :)

Luis

Thanks a lot :)
I assume RCL means "Remote Central Lock". Maybe that's a silly question :D, but is there another relay for he central lock (itself) or the yellow one « controls the entier locking system?
