Just had my mums car broken into last night (n) , which made me think about my own car security, thinking about getting a Toad AI606 since reading threads posted by you guys, but can you recommend any others aswell?

AI606 is a good alarm, of course the obvious choice is clifford but they are expensive.

Sorry that post isnt much use, it depends really, are you after an alarm with lost of options or just one what you arm and disarm (basic alarm functions)

Looking for one which locks/unlocks & activates the alarm by remote & alarm which senses shocks to the outer body & movement inside the car (decent ultrasonic sensors)

Toad ai606 wont detect shocks to the outside by default, you will have to get a 2 stage shock sensor, basically if someone taps your car it gives a pre warn (beeps at them 5 times) if there is a large impact to the car, like someone smacking off the locking wheel nut caps or actually hitting the car it will trigger the full alarm, the interior ultrasonics are very good on the toads also
