:bang: help;;;;;;;;; i have a fiat punto and it is just a few months old(sept o4) and i have fitted a cheetah car alarm in it and all ok it is just the 2 wires that i connected to the central door locking that got a bit hot...the wires that came out of the drivers door (very thin wires) just under the fuse box inside the car as that is where i can get to them but all was fine untill i tried to lock the door a month later from inside (wonderd what that strange factory smell was ?) ...it did not work...not even with the key on the outside...but it workes with the alarm fob....so any way of fitting the central locking to my punto without having to set it alight?..the guy in the garage said somthing about a "body computer"..anyway no harm done...just need to know where to fit the 2 wires to the right place to lock the door....and what colour they are.....so if you know please inform me...as i have made cock up of this....thanks in advance......ps...i have simply cut the 2 wires for now...just to be safe...and the wires are negative pulse thingys... :bang:
