i am thinking of getting one of theses car alarms has anyone already got one/had one are they a good buy.

i have just put central locking in my uno and was going to use this alarm with the central locking has the central locking kit i got wasnt remote.

and the remote start sounds good to me .... but is it

Looks like a lot of alarm for the money,don't know about the quality as it could be Chinese.Especially with a name like Richness Dragon, sounds like a chinese medicine shop

if it is foreign, they use different frequencys so may interfere, turn all your neighbours sky over, very cheap system tho, Ant!

Very true Ant!

It looks like a lot of kit for the money but I do wonder how good it actually is. It might be cheaply made and end up being nothing but bother. Also it doesn't look like it has a Thatcham style rating therefore it won't be approved by the insurance companies, but that doesn't stop you from fitting one

I got a cheap PLC one off ebay, i think thats a chinese one too. looks similar to this one but doesn't have remote start, took me a day to fit it but it works great, it locks the doors too using central locking so i saved a few quid having to buy the unit for that, as before i could only use the key to lock and unlock it. I didn't bother fitting the anti hijack thing tho.. but apart from that alls well.. And doesn't interfear with my sky an i aint too bothered about nieghbours watchin corrie an eastenders lol.
