Can anyone tell me how and where I top up the gearbox oil on my Scudo JTD 2.0 van?

under the van on the casing by the diff. 21mm socket and extension bar. one on the side is fill level one under is drain.

Is that the same for a '99 1.9d?

I was under the van doing suspension arms at the weekend and popped out a driveshaft by mistake losing some gear oil.

It wasn't obvious to me where the filler/level plug was, so I just added some oil via the breather.

is that ok to add oil via the breather? and ifso what oil does it take? ive been sold some tutela matryx gear oil via a fiat/alfa specialist is this the right stuff?

Hello, i did the same putting some new bottom arms on, i just guessd how much came out and i just put it back in through the breather, it will be fine, its not sealed, hence having a breather.
