i recently made a long journey in my scudo and after about 100 miles it started blowing out black smoke and stuttering as if it was going to run out of fuel but eased off as i dropped speed! this gradually got worse the further i went, the aa said it was the fuel pump and towed me home! after getting it home its stopped smoking as much but still doesn't feel right (a little bit jerky at times with deffinate power loss) the cat sounds as if its rattling could this cause the problem or has it been damaged by the over fueling( (i haven't replaced the fuel pump yet)
