Technical Fiat Scudo 2.0 RHK Engine Rattle

Hello,

I have a Fiat Scudo 2.0 with 200000 miles with a engine rattle when accelerating at 1700 RPM aproximately.

I replaced the camshafts timing chain and hydraulic lifters, but the problem remains.

What engine series is this FIAT JTD.. or the PSA ?

Its a 2.0 psa engine

Do not run a diesel engine without coolant even for a short period , serious damage can be caused very rapidly.

Check the seals between the injectors and the cylinder head ticking could be escaping combustion gasses
