i can see what to me looks like
a spout with a nip ple on top
that makes me think it should
havr something attached

cant see anything loose

any ideas?

Looks like an electrical plug..
The nipple is for the plugs locking tab

could an electrical plug handle the heat of straight onto
engine block like that , i agree it looks like a plastic plug nip ple

could that be the oil pressure sensor / monitor thats disconnected?
what could come out of that little pipe ? oil ?

I do have an oil leak , mechanic said its coming from turbo pipe
and likely to take 8 hours for access to repair ?

When i turn key ,and all lights should light up to test
theres no oil light

So anybody recognise that little pipe and whats its for and
what /how i should plug it up with , go through a puddle and water
looks as though it could get in

any thoghts appreciated
