The fat rubber pipe going to the inlet manifold has a small take-off with a smaller-diameter (11mm?) pipe going to some sort of sensor.

Any idea what size the smaller diameter one is? It's about 200mm long, 11mm OD, but ID?

Mine's split at the take-off from the fat pipe, and I wonder a) how that will affect the engine's running andd b) wheter I can get a "generic" item from a motor factor.

It's previously been shortened, and is now taped up!

Re: Scudo 2.0 HDI 2004 SX intake hose to sensor.

I'll do that. Don't need much hose. I'd like to have some of those spring type hose clips, not jubilee clips. Unsure what they're called. Can either be flat spring steel, or spring wire, in either case you pinch the ends to expand them (they're reusable).

(Blast. Can't edit uthe original title.)

Blast. Tomorrow, when they're open I have to get a new bit of hose..

I have now got a head-turning "whooooooooo,WOOOOO,ooo,WHOOOO,ooo,OOOOO" whistling moaning noise when I go along, matching the throttle movement, and lots of coughing and spluttering from behind when I out my food down due to the horrendous clouds of black smoke that shoot out of the back.

My tape's blown.
