Hi all,

I have a Scudo 2.0 jtd 2007/2008. When the headlight position is "OFF" the main lights are on and internal lighting is off. When in "ON", the internal lighting is on but headlights turn off.

Does anyone have any idea what might be going on? Unfortunately need to resolve quickly for road worthiness certification.

All the lights work in some position, so I don't think its a fuse or broken lights. To me it seems like they have been rewired backwards, but I wouldn't know where to look for that.

Any help appreciated! Thanks

Hi.

Just in case its a canbus switching issue.

Remove the battery negative lead for an hour.

If no different..

Maybe attempt a phonic wheel relearn.

Thanks, I'll give it a go and let you know. What would a phonic wheel relearn require if the first option fails?

@edenraf
I think Charle is confusing a phonic wheel re-learn with a proxi-alignment.
Unfortuntly I don't think either will help you. I sounds like a faultystalk switch. Don't know for sure on the Scudo, but most switch different values of resistor for different functions. If contact fails you get odd effects.
Plugging Multiecuscan in will tell a lot. have a look here

to see if thee is anyone locl to yo who can do it for you.
