non starter

hi all

please could someone help me with the location of the fuse and relay for the fuel pump on a scudo 1.6 2011 or wiring diagram, i have p0001 error code and need to check them, ive tested all the fuses i can find and they are all ok, so maybe the fuse is located somewhere else

the van was fine when i started it up and then it just cut out and just turns over and will not start

any help would be much appreciated

Do you mean the lift pump in the fuel tank??

Or something else??

thanks for your reply, yes its a multijet.

p0001 relates to Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit/Open which i believe is attached to the high pressure pump which run via cam belt, its the fuel volume regulator circuit that i need to check, having said that, it seems like it may be being starved of fuel as the primer bulb is soft, i did have a spare fuel filter and fitted that but it dont seem to of made any difference primer bulb soft still even after pumping it for half an hour

if this has a lifter pump then i would need to test that and fuses etc so i would need to know where to look for fuse or a wiring diagram

so far i have tested fuses under bonnet left hand side and the fuses on the bsi drivers side under dash and fuses by the battery, but all fuses are good

i have also checked if the cam moves when i try to start it and it does so cam belt seems to be ok

i will be testing the wires shortly with a power probe etc2000 so i should be able to trace the wiring and check for breaks etc (but this is only good if i know where the wires go to, if i have got a break)

its just strange how it just died, no sputtering or anything like that

The tank pumps are relatively simple.. with a built in filter

Look in GUIDES MK 1 punto

Look at FIATDALYS site for full parts diagrams..

To my mind.. you wouldnt need a hand primer..AND a tank pump..
