Hi, searched out the other threads and have found the gear linkage cable as my stick was suffering similar issues (feels like nothing is there to select).
This was still connected and was motoring a rod up and down and rotating it. I have managed to grab hold of the rod and manually attempt to select a gear. Oddly the rod pops through the top of the engine dislodging a cap on the box, you can see the rod moving around the box through this, but nothing will select/engage.
Second gear has always been troublesome on this van, would grind 80% of the time.
Should I fear the worst ?
