Technical non starting

hi can any help me I have 1998 1,9 van that will not turn over .
I change the battery but when turning the key the battery light gose out ,and nothing ,I change the eng barrel starter motor but still nothing any idea. thanks mike

engine seized.. hydraulically locked..??..??

does it turn over at all..??,
:idea: try tow starting..

the lights dimming means that the switch is working,

try a 2nd earth lead from battery Negative to engine metalwork

Hi there nothing from the key . Which is new switch . Starter will not turn and when key is turnd to start all lights go out

As already stated make sure u have a good earth
