Hi all am new to this form soo I thought I'd ask you all a question, my 2007 120 multi jet scudo panel van has started too say that the drivers door is open when it is closed.. I have checked the cables running into the door and wd40'd all the mechanisms in the door latch but no joy.. It's keeping the van from locking and I have realised if I push the door tight that the van will lock, sometime tho pulling the drivers handle releases the drives leaving the rest of the van locked ?

Can u not adjust keep tp tighten door up when its shut

probably a failing micro switch inside the door actuator

A wiring diagram and a multi-meter to find out whats going on

If the switch isn't saying its open/closed circuit when it shud say, the car wont lock at all

yes mine is/was doing this, I think a new door lock is required, in the meantime if you snip the green wire going to the multi connector it will disable the micro switch so you can lock the door, just dont unlock and open the drivers door and leave your keys in there as it will re lock itself after 30 seconds with your keys still inside.
I cant find any second hand ones and it does not look like the locks can be stripped and serviced so I am stuck like this till I get one. A lot of trouble for a poxy micro switch, still at least I know how to get the lock out now when I fianlly get one
